How my life's been...=]
So as many of you know, when you text me, chat me, or talk to me....and the conversation just gets dry, i'll ask my famous question....sooooo...."How's life?" haha sorry I haven't been blogging lately, I've been kinda lazy..so =/ anyway. =] so where was I ok so lets start from like.....hmmm...OH!! OH!! [sorry if your offended Emily =P I mean no harm ;)] I know! so I went to Russia...finland...and sweden...for orchastra tour! I'll tell you about that! ok um lets see so the flight was about idk 14...maybe 15 hours? to Frankfurt, Germany...then another flight for like 2 hours...to Russia....incrediblely long...it was funny I was looking at the itinary before we went and on it, it said were stoping in frankfurt...so the whole time I kept telling everyone were stopping in Kentucky...-_- then I got to the airport and finally looked at the board..and saw that were going to Germany...haha anyway I got on the plane and see I was going to swich seats w/ the guy who was next to me after take off[ he was a cellist...i don't really know him though =/] but then he fell asleep...and I didn't want to wake him up..=[ so I was suck akwardly sitting next to him for like 15 hours... OH! another thing! it was wweeeerrriidd....there was a high school orchastra...a high school choir AND a rock band on board the plane..we didn't plan it! So wreid....So we also had like 10 DS spread out though our group so the whole time we were playing Mario Cart...had Wi-fi too =] I mean to other DS's not for comps though....=[...so after we got to Germany...we had like 1to 2 hours transit time....haha we played set....the suuperrr annoying card iq game and I attempted to learn how to play rook =] the other reallly fun card game it's avalible at like walmart...=] so we headed on the plane again...XD then we finally got to Russia...ok customs...and orchastra in Russia don't really work well.....We were there for 2 hours cause they had to go through EVERY SINGLE violin/viola/cello....the maker..the label...sigh..annoying...and the cellos were in blue whales too...like gigatic cases that go over the regualar hard case to ensure safety on a plane... Then we went outside...so the moment we got outside...we realized how hot russia got in the summer...nooo joke EVERYONE thought it was going to be SUPER cold...I was like 95 degrees -______- yeah...not fun cause I didn't have shorts...actually Ihad like one pair but that was it... the bus ride was interesting...I finally found a place in the world that has worse traffic then LA...ok There's still traffic at 1 am in the morning!! It took us like 4 hours to get to the place we were staying...it should have taken us like 30 min or something...we skiped dinner that night...i didn't really care though...we were all jetlagged anyway... =/ so the rooms...now this is interesting..so we had like a room the size of a cell...4 like orphan/cell beds to a room one Large window...that looked like bars...and the outside of the building looked like a prison too....barbed wire...spotlights...spiked fences...and cameras...it was iinnntteressing....the adults even refered to it as "the compound"....nooo joke...=P the showers were pretty interesting too..cause the shower curtian was like super flimsy and you couldn't take a shower without it like sticking to you the entire time O_O....yeah anyway that was Moscow...It was cool though we went the the orphanage the next day passed out toys to kids....ok What I learned about Russia..is that no one follows the laws on drinking age and smoking age...The kids at the orphanage were smoking and they were like younger than us....O_O No one stops them either...its soo werid....we after that we played at this university...The audience had this really cool like communism clap or something..when they get excited they start clapping in sync. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! We played like 4 encores...then we ran out of songs...-_- haha Best consert the entire tour in my opinon cept the last one cant decided between the two. So the next day we played for church in the morning....so we were heading on stage and i don't know how but i put pressure on my E string and then it just popped...luckily I had a spare so =]....After that we played for vespers at a different church..which was another 4-6 hours away...both churches were in Moscow O_O....ok interesting thing about this consert...first of all it has a pretty small stage...and when you cram about 30 people on a small stage in about 100 degree weather...it becomes at least 110 degrees on stage...it was BURNING up there! Some people had sweat puddles on their chin rest! NO JOKE!!! It was wet! >_< we went to pizza Hut after haha russian pizza hut =]...then we headed to Red Square to go see saint Basils Catherdral at night....on the way there we saw a bunch of drunk people danceing on the streets randomly...O_O it was pretty scary...but Saint Basils was really pretty and so was red Square! at night =] only down side was that it was 1 am when we visited...yeah well anyway here's a pic..my friend took this.....

My Life as "That Choo Kid" =]
Hello fellow friends who I have not blogged to in a LONG time( mainly because none of you would comment). How have you been? Good? You know what's the funny thing about that question? I mean whenever you ask " How are you?" 99.9%[ 98% of statics are made up on the spot( including this one)] of the time you will get the answer ," Oh I'm great!" or ,"Oh i'm just swell". You almost NEVER get something like ," My life stinks, I have so many bills to pay.......etc." Imagine if someone were to reply like that.... it would open up soo many discussion topics. The conversation could go somewhere after that. =]
So instead of just saying that I'm doing ok, I'll tell you what I've been doing...... I've been walking in to screen doors and tripping UP the stairs. No, seriously that's what I've been doing. The funny thing is that I not only walked into the screen door once, but I did it TWICE.... In a row! Cause I'm speical like that. haha. I was at a friend's house it was dark outside and I was about to go into the house. You see, at my house we don't use screen doors anymore because were afriad my dog will jump on it and break it. So I was walking into the house and I was looking over my shoulder and then I walked into the screen door. I was thinking in my head, " what is this invisible force that is preventing me from going in!" Since it was dark out I couldn't see the screen very well so I walked into the screen door AGAIN. When I finally found out that there was a screen door I opened in then walked into the house. I was on my way upstairs when I tripped up the stairs and fell flat on my face. Yup......
You know I just realized this is my 50th blog post! So if your wondering why I called this blog post ," My Life as " That Choo Kid" " it's because I recently started signing my homework as ," That Choo Kid" I don't know why but I was signing into study hall one day and I just thought that would be werid if I signed in as "That Choo Kid" ok I'll do it! haha Since then, my Gen Lit teacher has been adding adjectives in front of the "Choo" ( That [adjective] Choo Kid). Makes me laugh everytime. Speaking of General Lit. My reseach paper is doing ok, BIG thanks to Gabriel on that!
You know it's funny how perfect God places you in the perfect places.... I mean I LOVE my family, God couldn't have chosen a better mom or dad or brother or dog( ^_^ Love you Maple) for me. So as a thank you, I will make a short line or two about each one of them.
Mom: You're so hardworking and patient. I don't think I could every be willing to do what you do for us.
Dad: Thank you so much for keeping me alive. =] You're very hardworking and loving.
Gabriel: You listen to me say the things no one would EVER listen to. You put up with all my evil pranks and still stay up past 12 am to help me edit my papers. I don't think ANY other brother would do that.
Maple: You're soo happy. You make me happy! ( it's been proven) =]
Friends: You guys are awesome. Nuff said.
God: No amout of words will even begin to describe how great you have been to me. Thank you!
Huh ,so what else has been going on in my life? Homework, violin, violin, violin, and homework. That's basically it. I know my life is pretty boring. So to all you La Miradians , I REALLY REALLY REALLY miss all of you and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see you guys again sometime( When I can get a free Wedsday off again).
You know I realize something, I need to pray more. I feel that I need to grow closer to God, pray for me. =]
Life is Good. God is Good. Family is Good. Friends are Good. Good is Good. =] So, how are you ( haha)?

Does being a hero make you a better person?
Okie Dokie, I need help on this project. You see, I have my whole research essay to do and I'm doing it on the topic of, " Does being a hero necessarily make you a better person?". For those of you who have taken Gen. Lit. it's the whole big 18 paragraph thing composed of 3 separate essays. So I need some help brainstorming. I was wondering can you help me on:
1. What defines a hero? Is it the capes or the masks? Or is it the selfless choice to sacrifice comforts for the benefit of others. Of course you make this choice with a good moral understanding too. ( Hitler's morals were messed up I believe)
2. What makes a hero so different from a villain? Okay. anyone remember this quote? " You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." What makes a hero become a villain? Pride, to much Power, messed up morals, obsession?
3. How does being a good person make you a hero? I don't know about this one I might not use it.
4. Who was the Sir Percy, inside? well obviously he wasn't the dumb man he pretended to be, but he wasn't always the super, life-saving hero all the time either. What were his reasons to save people? In the book it said his intentions were to do it out of enjoyment, see that's the part I don't get.
5. Was there an obsession problem with Batman? Was he a slave to his Job? Did obsession take over his moral reasoning? If it did what did he obsess over? What were his motives? ( besides the fact that his parents died and he didn't want that to happen to anyone else) Christian can you help me on this one?
6. What is the cost of being a hero?
yup, I need help... THANKS!!!!! oh and I also found this quote : ,
" A hero is a individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwelming obstacles."
- Christoper Reeve ( I know this doesn't work for the whole definition thing cause well Hitler persevered in spite of overwelming obstacles too.)

How to get what you want for the cheapest prices
ok so I was at the mall last night trying to find a TOTALLY PLANED gift for my brother's b-day right. After I bought the present, I had about 4 bucks left. Knowing that Gabriel likes candles, I went into the candle shop. I asked the nice person if he had anything under 4 bucks. He said ," We only have floating candles but I know what it's like to be broke ( I'm not broke) so I'll sell you a mini jar candle for 2.50 ( the original price was $10) I was like 0_0 SWEET =]! Then I told him it was my brother b-day and he gave me stickers, a box, wrapping tissue and some ribbon. ( I think there was supposed to be a fee for that)
So after I had bout' 1.50 left so I went down to the chocolate shop and I asked if they had anything under a buck. The nice college student behind the counter told me the cheapest was 2.50 so I tried to act desperate and I asked how much the total cost would be with tax. Then she looked around and whispered , " Just pick which one you want and give me what you have I'll sell it to you , this stuff is overpriced anyway. I was sooooo HAPPY!!!! Next time I go to the mall I'll take with me only 5 bucks!
