OH!! [sorry if your offended Emily =P I mean no harm ;)] I know! so I went to Russia...finland...and sweden...for orchastra tour! I'll tell you about that! ok um lets see so the flight was about idk 14...maybe 15 hours? to Frankfurt, Germany...then another flight for like 2 hours...to Russia....incrediblely long...it was funny I was looking at the itinary before we went and on it, it said were stoping in frankfurt...so the whole time I kept telling everyone were stopping in Kentucky...-_- then I got to the airport and finally looked at the board..and saw that were going to Germany...haha anyway I got on the plane and see I was going to swich seats w/ the guy who was next to me after take off[ he was a cellist...i don't really know him though =/] but then he fell asleep...and I didn't want to wake him up..=[ so I was suck akwardly sitting next to him for like 15 hours... OH! another thing! it was wweeeerrriidd....there was a high school orchastra...a high school choir AND a rock band on board the plane..we didn't plan it! So wreid....So we also had like 10 DS spread out though our group so the whole time we were playing Mario Cart...had Wi-fi too =] I mean to other DS's not for comps though....=[...so after we got to Germany...we had like 1to 2 hours transit time....haha we played set....the suuperrr annoying card iq game and I attempted to learn how to play rook =] the other reallly fun card game it's avalible at like walmart...=] so we headed on the plane again...XD then we finally got to Russia...ok customs...and orchastra in Russia don't really work well.....We were there for 2 hours cause they had to go through EVERY SINGLE violin/viola/cello....the maker..the label...sigh..annoying...and the cellos were in blue whales too...like gigatic cases that go over the regualar hard case to ensure safety on a plane... Then we went outside...so the moment we got outside...we realized how hot russia got in the summer...nooo joke EVERYONE thought it was going to be SUPER cold...I was like 95 degrees -______- yeah...not fun cause I didn't have shorts...actually Ihad like one pair but that was it... the bus ride was interesting...I finally found a place in the world that has worse traffic then LA...ok There's still traffic at 1 am in the morning!! It took us like 4 hours to get to the place we were staying...it should have taken us like 30 min or something...we skiped dinner that night...i didn't really care though...we were all jetlagged anyway... =/ so the rooms...now this is interesting..so we had like a room the size of a cell...4 like orphan/cell beds to a room one Large window...that looked like bars...and the outside of the building looked like a prison too....barbed wire...spotlights...spiked fences...and cameras...it was iinnntteressing....the adults even refered to it as "the compound"....nooo joke...=P the showers were pretty interesting too..cause the shower curtian was like super flimsy and you couldn't take a shower without it like sticking to you the entire time O_O....yeah anyway that was Moscow...It was cool though we went the the orphanage the next day passed out toys to kids....ok What I learned about Russia..is that no one follows the laws on drinking age and smoking age...The kids at the orphanage were smoking and they were like younger than us....O_O No one stops them either...its soo werid....we after that we played at this university...The audience had this really cool like communism clap or something..when they get excited they start clapping in sync. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! We played like 4 encores...then we ran out of songs...-_- haha Best consert the entire tour in my opinon cept the last one cant decided between the two. So the next day we played for church in the morning....so we were heading on stage and i don't know how but i put pressure on my E string and then it just popped...luckily I had a spare so =]....After that we played for vespers at a different church..which was another 4-6 hours away...both churches were in Moscow O_O....ok interesting thing about this consert...first of all it has a pretty small stage...and when you cram about 30 people on a small stage in about 100 degree weather...it becomes at least 110 degrees on stage...it was BURNING up there! Some people had sweat puddles on their chin rest! NO JOKE!!! It was wet! >_< we went to pizza Hut after haha russian pizza hut =]...then we headed to Red Square to go see saint Basils Catherdral at night....on the way there we saw a bunch of drunk people danceing on the streets randomly...O_O it was pretty scary...but Saint Basils was really pretty and so was red Square! at night =] only down side was that it was 1 am when we visited...yeah well anyway here's a pic..my friend took this.....

The next day we did some shopping at Arbat street. They really did sell those cool Russian fuzzy hats! But we didn't buy any...to expensive. We got to see the inside of st. Basils...oh oh there was this quintent there!! soooo pretty!! =] cause the catherdral echoes and ohhh sooo beautiful! Well That's all for Moscow...I'll tell you about the rest of the trip later right now it's 12:45 am is night' =]

This is not worth reading.....

sorry. to busy. had to study. now blogging. ok I blogged bye!

My Life as "That Choo Kid" =]

Hello fellow friends who I have not blogged to in a LONG time( mainly because none of you would comment). How have you been? Good? You know what's the funny thing about that question? I mean whenever you ask " How are you?" 99.9%[ 98% of statics are made up on the spot( including this one)] of the time you will get the answer ," Oh I'm great!" or ,"Oh i'm just swell". You almost NEVER get something like ," My life stinks, I have so many bills to pay.......etc." Imagine if someone were to reply like that.... it would open up soo many discussion topics. The conversation could go somewhere after that. =]

So instead of just saying that I'm doing ok, I'll tell you what I've been doing...... I've been walking in to screen doors and tripping UP the stairs. No, seriously that's what I've been doing. The funny thing is that I not only walked into the screen door once, but I did it TWICE.... In a row! Cause I'm speical like that. haha. I was at a friend's house it was dark outside and I was about to go into the house. You see, at my house we don't use screen doors anymore because were afriad my dog will jump on it and break it. So I was walking into the house and I was looking over my shoulder and then I walked into the screen door. I was thinking in my head, " what is this invisible force that is preventing me from going in!" Since it was dark out I couldn't see the screen very well so I walked into the screen door AGAIN. When I finally found out that there was a screen door I opened in then walked into the house. I was on my way upstairs when I tripped up the stairs and fell flat on my face. Yup......

You know I just realized this is my 50th blog post! So if your wondering why I called this blog post ," My Life as " That Choo Kid" " it's because I recently started signing my homework as ," That Choo Kid" I don't know why but I was signing into study hall one day and I just thought that would be werid if I signed in as "That Choo Kid" ok I'll do it! haha Since then, my Gen Lit teacher has been adding adjectives in front of the "Choo" ( That [adjective] Choo Kid). Makes me laugh everytime. Speaking of General Lit. My reseach paper is doing ok, BIG thanks to Gabriel on that!

You know it's funny how perfect God places you in the perfect places.... I mean I LOVE my family, God couldn't have chosen a better mom or dad or brother or dog( ^_^ Love you Maple) for me. So as a thank you, I will make a short line or two about each one of them.

Mom: You're so hardworking and patient. I don't think I could every be willing to do what you do for us.

Dad: Thank you so much for keeping me alive. =] You're very hardworking and loving.

Gabriel: You listen to me say the things no one would EVER listen to. You put up with all my evil pranks and still stay up past 12 am to help me edit my papers. I don't think ANY other brother would do that.

Maple: You're soo happy. You make me happy! ( it's been proven) =]

Friends: You guys are awesome. Nuff said.

God: No amout of words will even begin to describe how great you have been to me. Thank you!

Huh ,so what else has been going on in my life? Homework, violin, violin, violin, and homework. That's basically it. I know my life is pretty boring. So to all you La Miradians , I REALLY REALLY REALLY miss all of you and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see you guys again sometime( When I can get a free Wedsday off again).

You know I realize something, I need to pray more. You see, I have my whole research essay to do and I'm doing it on the topic of, " Does being a hero necessarily make you a better person?". For those of you who have taken Gen. Lit. it's the whole big 18 paragraph thing composed of 3 separate essays. So I need some help brainstorming. I was wondering can you help me on:

1. What defines a hero? Is it the capes or the masks? Or is it the selfless choice to sacrifice comforts for the benefit of others. Of course you make this choice with a good moral understanding too. ( Hitler's morals were messed up I believe)

2. What makes a hero so different from a villain? Okay. anyone remember this quote? " You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." What makes a hero become a villain? Pride, to much Power, messed up morals, obsession?

3. How does being a good person make you a hero? I don't know about this one I might not use it.

4. Who was the Sir Percy, inside? well obviously he wasn't the dumb man he pretended to be, but he wasn't always the super, life-saving hero all the time either. What were his reasons to save people? In the book it said his intentions were to do it out of enjoyment, see that's the part I don't get.

5. Was there an obsession problem with Batman? Was he a slave to his Job? Did obsession take over his moral reasoning? If it did what did he obsess over? What were his motives? ( besides the fact that his parents died and he didn't want that to happen to anyone else) Christian can you help me on this one?

6. What is the cost of being a hero?

yup, I need help... THANKS!!!!! oh and I also found this quote : ,

" A hero is a individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwelming obstacles."
- Christoper Reeve ( I know this doesn't work for the whole definition thing cause well Hitler persevered in spite of overwelming obstacles too.)

=]

How to get what you want for the cheapest prices

ok so I was at the mall last night trying to find a TOTALLY PLANED gift for my brother's b-day right. After I bought the present, I had about 4 bucks left. Knowing that Gabriel likes candles, I went into the candle shop. I asked the nice person if he had anything under 4 bucks. He said ," We only have floating candles but I know what it's like to be broke ( I'm not broke) so I'll sell you a mini jar candle for 2.50 ( the original price was $10) I was like 0_0 SWEET =]! Then I told him it was my brother b-day and he gave me stickers, a box, wrapping tissue and some ribbon. ( I think there was supposed to be a fee for that)

So after I had bout' 1.50 left so I went down to the chocolate shop and I asked if they had anything under a buck. The nice college student behind the counter told me the cheapest was 2.50 so I tried to act desperate and I asked how much the total cost would be with tax. Then she looked around and whispered , " Just pick which one you want and give me what you have I'll sell it to you , this stuff is overpriced anyway. I was sooooo HAPPY!!!! Next time I go to the mall I'll take with me only 5 bucks!

Winter Break...

Wow, winter break was fun! so many things to do, so little time. We can make God smile. It doesn't matter how many times we mess up, God will always love us. God will always help us along, so don't be afraid to try to put a smile on God's face. =] The joy you yourself will receive is also =]. scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='gratitude thanksgiving'/>
Gratitude

Gratitude [grat⋅i⋅tude] pronounced: grat-i-tood, -tyood.
-noun
:the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful

Grateful: the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful.

Gratitude. What a great word. Cicero once said "Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others". That's AMAZING!

You know sometimes in life we tend to take things for granted. Like typing, how many of us pray at night and say " God thank you for the ability to type." One of my teacher's mother had a stroke. She fell off a bike when she wasn't wearing a helmet. Now she has to re-learn almost everything. It's not as bad as not being able to swallow but she has to learn how to move her arms and say her daughter's name, it's depressing. So this thanksgiving I want to thank God for the little things (and also the big things).

Dear God, thanks for......

1. A health body

2. all the talents you have given me

3. Parents

4. A roof to live under

5. food

6. Friends

7. life

8. You

9. The bible

10. typing (lol)

11. an education (no matter how much I dislike the work load)

12. Maple

13. Music

14. Gabriel

15. electronics

This list will never end. Anyways, H.U. Westermayer said " The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving". Denis Waitly said "Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude." Although 14 is usually said as "shi si," which sounds like "ten die", it can also be said as "yi si" or "yao si", literally "one four". Thus, 14 can also be said as "yao si," literally "one four," but it also means "want to die" (要死 pinyin yào sǐ). In Cantonese, 14 sounds like "sap sei", which sounds like "sat6 sei2" meaning "certainly die" (實死)."

Really, it's like making me want to hold on to my last hour/minute of being 13. I just had one today in fact, and it made me think. Getting insulted is one of the worst feelings you can ever experience. I won't lie, I've talked about people behind their backs ( Pray for me).
When I was about 8 years old, my mom signed my brother and I up for a basketball class at the local community center. I was not that great at basketball. I was paired up with a very experienced partner. After the class, I went up to the coach to ask him something.... Just when I was about to say something, my partner interrupted and asked " Coach, can you not pair me up with her? She stinks at basketball." That didn't exactly make my day..... The next time you feel like wanting to curse someone to eternal life deep down under... Remember, don't say something about that person unless your willing to say it to their face.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
- Matt 5:44
There was a person I really dislike for no apparent reason, she was not a christian. After much prayer and help from God, I finally invited her to Church. Now she's about to get baptised. God is a God of miraculous powers. I love you God. Please pray for me, for I am guilty of insulting, and I need help.

P.S. I think that was the first serious blog post i've ever written.

Do I look Korean?

Ok, so my mom, dad and I went out to a Japanese restaurant to eat. For all of you that are confused right now I suggest you read this blog post: http://janeandellen.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

You see, I don't question your theory that ducks are taking over the world but.....
the ducks now have compition. Geese and taking over the world... One pinic table at a time.
How did I discover this? You see I was on vacation, my family stop by a local lake for a late lunch. Suddenly, this goose shows up out of no where and starts making this terrible noise. At this point were thinking this goose either was so annoying that it got ditched by it's family, or it's about to give birth. Then I comes over, we try to scare it off but this thing is utterly fearless! This goose is the future leader of the legion of Geese! Here's where the ducks come in, after the Geese have taken over half of the world, the Ducks will have already taken over the other half and then there will be a epic battle between the ducks and the geese to see which bird will take over the world.

Why, Why, Why....

I got this in a resent email I thought it was interesting.....

Why Do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are going dead?
Why do people keep pressing the elevator buttons even after they're lit? I have to write something! So recently I have been going over some of the family shows that aired in the 90's. I came to a conclusion that shows made back then were a lot better than the shows that air today. For example, can you think of any show that has not yet been cancelled that can be as heart-warming, cute, funny, and family-suitable as Full House or Boy Meets World? Those two shows are the best shows ever made.... in my opinon. Well I g2g.

Why I have not been blogging

Dear silent readers who refuse to comment,

As you may have noticed, I have gone on a long writing strike. We visited many of the great landmarks and sites. Although there are some interesting things that I believe you can only find in China.

1) Take a look at this picture....

It looks like a blur of nothing right? Well it's not, that is the sky, and that tiny yellow speck? That's the sun. That is NOT fog that is smog, because there wouldn't be fog at 1:00 in the afternoon! See, fog is all mystical and cool, but smog is dull and air polluting. Take a look at this picture this is at 3:00 in the afternoon this picture was taken a couple hundred yards away...

That, my friends, is not fog but smog.

2)Interesting thing about Chinese, their cheap, they like to reuse bottles over and over again. Sometimes, they don't read the label and they just pour the liquid right in. For example...

Olive oil is labeled vinegar, and vinegar is labeled olive oil.

3) Chinese are really good at pushing people to buy things, this lady almost followed us back the the hotel trying to sell us stuff. We finally gave in.
4) Only in China can you find a great, long wall that stretches over hundreds of miles.

This trip was definitely very interesting.

Paul Bunyan and the Evil Brownie Queen

This is my play for class. Oh, and Billy, please go throw away that banana before I give you detention, too.
(Lynn keeps mouth open)(Billy walks over to the trash can drops the banana peel on the floor and slips on his own banana peel)
(Teacher is passing out reports, Tory gasps when she receives her report.)
Billy: Ouch!
Lynn: Billy! Watch it!!

(Billy and Lynn exits stage)
Mrs. Bell: Girls I need to talk to you about your-
(Tory cuts teacher off)
Tory: Why did I get an F!?
Mrs. Bell: DON’T INTERUPT ME!!!(Wide eye stern look) (Calm look) One of you plagiarized and I don’t care who, so you both get detention everyday after school for 5 weeks. You can go now.
Tory: WHAT!!!
Lori: Tory, don’t complain, we’re already lucky we didn’t get suspended.
Mrs. Bell: You should listen to your sister. She’s right you two are very lucky!
(Teacher exits stage, Tory has a very stunned look on her face.)
Tory: This is all your fault, Lori. Why did you copy my report!
Lori: You said I could.
Tory: No, I said I would help you, not let you copy my report!
Lori: Well, you never got around to helping me so I thought I would just help myself.
Tory: Thanks to you, we both got a zero …and DETENTION!!!
(Lynn comes running up to the two, jumping up and down, trying to look over their shoulders)
Lynn: What did you get busted for? Huh huh huh? (gasp) Tory got a zero! NO WAY!!! What happened? Huh huh huh?
Tory: Go away, Lynn. (mad voice)
Lynn: What did I do?
Lori: Aw, don’t worry, Tory’s just mad cause she got a zero on her report.
Tory: Again this is all your fault, if you would have once in a while put down that book on magical creatures, maybe you wouldn’t have to copy my work! (Almost shouting)
(Tory stomps off stage mad)
Lynn: She looks REALLY mad!
Lori: she’ll get over it.
Narrator: 4 periods later we find Lori, Tory, and Lynn in detention.
(While narrator is speaking Lori, Tory, and Lynn grab chairs.)
Mrs. Bell: If anyone says one word during detention, I will give all of you detention…again. I’ve got my eyes on you. (Eye and finger to kids) (Immediately falls asleep, snore)
(Lori and Tory yawn and fall asleep)
(Lynn gets up and sneaks out of detention)
(Lori wakes up, and looks around surprised)(setting trees with bright light in the distance)
Lori: Tory, Tory wake up! (Tory wakes up)
Tory: (sleepy voice) huh? (Wide eye) Where are we, and where’s Lynn?!?! (Paul sleeping is being carried (pushed) on little pieces)
Lori: Hey, look that’s something you don’t see everyday. (Lori points to Paul) Isn’t that Billy?
Tory: No, Lori, that’s Paul Bunyan, but it does really look like Billy!
Lori: Who’s Paul Bunyan?
Tory: If you had done the homework assignment MAYBE you wouldn’t have to ask me that.
Lori: Sorry. (Sad look)
Tory: Paul Bunyan was a fictional “Tall Tale “character, he was really, really, really big and he had a HUGE appetite.
Lori: Hey, how do you know he’s Paul Bunyan?
Tory: He has a red and green checkered shirt on and only Paul Bunyan wears that.
Lori: Oh
Tory: But why is he being carried by…. (Squints) What are those?!
Lori: (Squints) Hey, those are brownies!
Tory: Stop making me hungry!
Lori: Not the eating kind, the magical kind. They’re mini elves. There must be like 4 billion of them.
Tory: But where are they going?
Lori: Man they’re moving FAST
Tory: Hey let’s follo-
Tosh: (cuts off Tory) Hey! Come back!!!(Bends over puts hands on knees and pants) (Tory and Lori rushes over)
Tory: What’s going on?!
Lori: LYNN!!!!!?????
Tosh: My name is Tosh; I’m Paul’s friend… (Stops to pant) those little things raided us and kidnapped Paul…
Tory: We need to go after them then (Paul is off stage by now)
Tosh: let’s go then…
Lori: Ok let’s go (everyone starts running) (Tory, Tosh, and Lori start running towards Paul) (who is off stage)
Tosh: Ok not much farther, I saw them going into that cave (points to a makeshift cave) (3 girls go up to the cave making themselves unnoticeable.) (setting green and gray background with red light bulb fire)
Evil Brownie Queen: (Sinister Laugh) (evil look) (squeaky voice) (actor on her knees) finally! Thank you my little minions! (Playing with hands)(Paul stands up)
Brownies: We live to worship you our queen (union voice)
Evil Brownie Queen: Now I can finally get my revenge on this ugly lumberjack!
Paul: (deeper voice) Hey! I’m not ugly! (Pulls out a mirror checks hair)
Evil Brownie Queen: Where did you even get that mirror?
Paul: (proudly smiling) I know I’m Hot.
Evil Brownie Queen: You little vain….
Paul: Hey, do I look little to you???(Evil Brownie Queen’s face gets angry and red)
Evil Brownie Queen: Minions (pointing to a empty vat) go fill the vat with hot lava… It’s time to get revenge.
Paul: On who?
Evil Brownie Queen: (slaps forehead) Oh you, you little.
Paul: (cuts of Queen) Again I am not little.
Evil Brownie Queen: (Rolls eyes, sighs) I noticed
Paul: And what did I do to you, I don’t even know you.
Evil Brownie Queen: In preschool, you ate my last brownie. (Starts crying) (In between sobs) you and your big stomach… (Sobs) I was saving that last brownie.
Paul: (Squints) Dee Dee?! No way!! Like Dee Dee from preschool???
Evil Brownie Queen: DON’T CALL ME THAT!!!
(Brownies, Paul, Tory, Lori, Tosh laugh)
Tory: She wants to kill him because he ate her brownie…..In PRESCHOOL!!! (loud voice) and was that Mrs. Bell?
Lori and Tosh: SHHHH!
Evil Queen: (stops crying) what was that?! Minions go find whoever’s out there and bring them back.
Brownies: Yes, my queen.
(Lori, Tosh, and Tory are taken into captive)
Evil Brownie Queen: And who might you 3 be?
Tory: You’re going to kill Paul for eating your brownie???? That is soooo immature. Why hold a grudge for…what 50 years?
Evil Brownie Queen: Shut up! I am NOT that old, and he ate the last brownie!!! THE LAST BROWNIE!!!
Tory: So no one should hold a grudge for 83 years! Even holding a grudge for a day isn’t good for you! You get all cranky and grouchy.
Lori: You don’t say (sarcastically roll eyes)
(Tory looks at Lori with a sorry face)
Evil Brownie Queen: (looking sorry) you’re right maybe I have been holding a little grudge.
Tosh: A LITTLE grudge???
Paul: Dudette, I don’t even remember eating that brownie, but I’m sorry if I ever did.
Evil Brownie Queen: Alright, I forgive you, but what am I going to do with this big pot of lava?
Tosh: The lumberjacks back at camp have been a little cold lately…. Maybe we could set it in the middle of the camp to warm everyone up.
Evil Brownie Queen: Hm.. that would be a useful way to use this boiling lava. Ok MINIONS!!!
Brownies: Yes queen Dee Dee?(giggle)
Evil Brownie Queen: DON’T CALL ME THAT. Take this pot of boiling lava to the lumberjack campsite; place it in the middle of the camp.
Brownies: Yes queen Dee Dee.(giggle)
Evil Brownie Queen: This is what happens when you say my really name, from now on it’s going to be a revolt, this is all you’re fault, my reputation is ruined, but I forgive you, I’ve learned my lesson.
Narrator: Lori, Tory, Tosh, The good brownie queen, and Paul all went back to the campsite. There waiting for them was the brownies and the joyful lumberjacks. They all sat around the vat of boiling lava and shared stories, but no one noticed that Lori and Tory had snuck away into the woods.
Tory: Hey, Lori….(soft voice) I’m sorry I got so mad at you this afternoon.
I really didn’t like the thought of a big fat red “F” on my straight “A” record, and I’m sorry I didn’t help you with your report.
Lori: I’m sorry I plagiarized. I should have done my own homework. Hey, how about this let’s go up to Principal Franklin and tell him the truth, that I plagiarized. I know that you worked hard on that report, and you should get full credit for it.Tory: Good idea, next time I’ll make sure I help you on your report if you have problems. Hopefully, you’ll be able to write your report by yourself.
(Lori smiles, Tory and Lori “full hug” stop midway then “side hug” (Alex and Victoria, if you don’t get this ask Hallie to explain))
Tory: Now we only have one problem, HOW DO WE GET BACK HOME!!!!????
Lori: That’s easy; all we have to do is go through this small door in this trap tree.
(Lori opens the door in the tree)
Tory: How did you know that?
Lori: and you said reading books about magical worlds was a waste of time.
(Girls go off stage)
Narrator: Tory and Lori made it safely back to the “real” world. After detention the girls went to the principle’s office.(Setting 2 chairs and 1 chair facing the 2 chairs)
(Lori opens the door to the principle’s office. Girls walk in.)
Lori: MRS.BELL?! You’re the principle?!
Tory: Maybe this wasn’t the greatest idea.
Mrs. Bell: Principle Franklin is sick I’m subbing. What do you need?
Lori: (looks uneasy) Mrs. Bell, I was the one who copied Tory essay. I don’t think Tory should be punished for something she didn’t do.
Mrs. Bell: Well it certainly wasn’t Tory who plagiarized.
Lori: So you knew!
Mrs. Bell: Of course. I was just waiting for you to tell the truth.
Tory: So I get an “A”?
Mrs. Bell: That “F” was never on your record.
Tory: Do I still get detention?
Mrs. Bell: No, I just did that to scare you. I’ve got a keep a mean reputation to keep you know. If I don’t, the children are just going to talk and talk and talk (doing the finger thing) and talk and talk and…
Lori: Mrs. Bell
Mrs. Bell: Oh sorry.
Lori: Do I still have detention?
Mrs. Bell: Don’t be silly, (Lori smiles really big) of course you do (Lori smile turns into a frown), Hey, be glad that I didn’t suspend you.
Tory: Thank you so so so so much Mrs. Bell! Come on Lori let’s go.
Lori: Coming (dragging her feet)
Mrs. Bell: Oh and girls, don’t tell anyone that I was nice. It’s going to get stirrup a crowd.
Lori: Oh we won’t alright…. We won’t (sinister look)
Tory: LORI!! (Tory pulls Lori off stage)

CURTAIN

UPS Really Delivers

Well, as many of you may know this week is semester break for me. This week, everyone in my family, including my grandparents and aunt's family went up to Big Bear. We left on Tuesday morning, planning to come back on Thursday afternoon. After my one-year-old cousin woke up at 3 am in the morning crying and after my dad and my brother almost froze their butts off on Tuesday night, we decided that we should leave on Wednesday night. On Wednesday night it just so happened to snow....great. It just so happened that we didn't have snow chains too. We quickly piled into our 2 cars and started our journey home. The passengers in my car included my brother, my dad, and me. While going down the mountain in a snow storm we passed at least 5 signs that read "SNOW CHAINS REQUIRED!” We were going at about 5 miles per hour following a train of 100 cars and trucks. We were going so slow our GPS had a hard time tracking us. About 3 cars in front of us there was a UPS truck that had snow chains on. We started shouting very colorful words about going faster at the truck. At about 4,000 ft and 33 degrees the snow turned into rain and the visibility cleared. We used the passing lane to pass all the trucks and cars with snow chains on. We ended up getting home safely. The next day, which is today, my dad, went over to my aunt's house to pick up my grandparents. My uncle then explained that the UPS truck and all the cars with snow chains on had really saved our lives. Our car had no 4 wheel drive and no snow chains on. The snow chains were eating up the snow creating a dry road for us to safely travel on. If it wasn't for the cars with snow chains on, we would have gotten into an accident. So UPS truck I take back all the nasty thoughts about you and I promise to use your service, because I know that you not only deliver packages but you deliver lives too. :)

I'm Done!!!

As of yesterday, I have read all the books of the BIBLE!!! In the past 2 weeks I have had 5 recitals. GAHH!!!! I've had 2 piano recitals, 2 violin recitals, and 1 group violin recital. I'm happy though because I finally got gold in piano. (Jumps for joy!!) I could have done better in my violin recitals though. Oh well I had fun. I'm even happier because my dog's finally getting cuter. YAY! (Is it just me or does every little sibling say that?) My brother is caring, loving, and sometimes... hyper-crazy-super-duper-silly. He's willing to teach me something that he doesn't even know how to do. Did I mention he is also my partner in crime? Let me tell you a little story... It was the summer of 2004; my dad had subscribed to cable TV. We don't get regular channels where we live, so when we got cable, it meant CARTOONS! My dad was smarter than that, to keep us from getting addicted to TV, he set a parental lock on all our favorite channels. We could only watch TV when they typed in the code for us. That night my brother sat in his bed thinking of the different ways to crack the parental lock on the TV. Finally, he came up with the idea to sprinkle baking flour on the TV remote and ask our parents to type in the code, leaving the numbers from the code visible on the remote. Step 2 was to map out every combination and try each one until we got it right. On a weekday night when my mom was extremely busy in the kitchen, we decided to put phase 1 into action, I loaded to remote with flour and my brother handed the remote to my mom and begged her to let us watch TV. She looked at the remote and asked," Why is there white stuff on the remote?” My brother replied, “Oh, Jocelyn's just doing so crazy experiment,” which was true in a strange way. She replied," ok,ok,ok." ,typed in the code, and went back to cooking. Phase 1 was complete, we had received the needed numbers and we were ready to begin phase 2. Now after almost 4 years, I have forgotten what the numbers were, but anyway back to the story. Phase 2, when my mom and my brother left for flute lessons, I was left at home. I got the numbers from the remote and mapped out every possible combination. Then I went I tried every combination on the TV. Unfortunately, after every 7 tries the TV would shut down for 30 minutes. After the 20th or 30th try I finally got it. For 3 months my parents didn't know that we knew the code. When they did find out, they didn't know whether to scold us or to laugh. I consider my brother the best thing that I never wished for.

August Rush

August Rush is one of thee most AMAZING movies ever!!!!! Same as last year, eat a thanksgiving meal, then its back to normal life again. Sometimes I wonder are we REALLY thankful for what we have, or do we just saying that were thankful but not really mean it. To quote my brother, “Sometimes we're not truly thankful for something until it's taken away from us.". This Thanksgiving I realized that I am truly blessed, I have a loving family, A very cool brother, I have a roof to live under, God has blessed me with wonderful talents, and he has given me much more. So this Thanksgiving be thankful for what you have.

Batman vs. Nightwing vs. Orcale

Who's better? Well let's see Batman has genius-level intelligence, is a master detective, is a master escapologist, has Peak human physical condition, and is a Martial arts master. On the down side Batman ALWAYS gloomy and depressed. He then became Nightwing. He settled down in Bludhaven, became a cop by day, and the city's avenging angel by night. Some of his qualities are peak human level athlete/acrobat, exceptional martial artist master tactician and field commander, and master detective. He speaks with fluency in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese (though he appears not to know how to read the last three), and has some knowledge of Romany and the alien language of Tamaran.

Oracle was the former batgirl, after the joker shot her in the stomach, she lost the use of her body from waist down.
